ABOUT CUB SCOUT PACK 710

Cub Scout Pack 710 welcomes boys and girls, enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade from Hacienda Heights and the surrounding areas.

Our Chartering Organization is the St. Matthew's United Methodist Church

St. Matthew's is located at 15653. Newton St., Hacienda Heights, CA 91745

Pack 710 is a member of the El Camino Real which is part of the Greater Los Angeles Area Council (GLAAC)

Meetings are held on Thursday nights with an event planned on at least one weekend a month.

COST

The fee to join Pack 710 for the 2024 - 2025 year (September 2024 - August 2025) is $235 and is broken down as follows

$25 New Scout Fee (1 time only)

$85 National Program Fee

$50 Council Program Fee

$35 Council Insurance Fee

$40 Pack Dues

Pack 710 makes every attempt to keep our membership fees as low as possible. The pack is run by volunteers and occasionally hosts fundraisers to offset some of the expenses for activities and equipment.

ABOUT CUB SCOUTS

The Cub Scout pack is made up of all the dens, which meet monthly at the pack meeting, led by the Cubmaster. There are games, skits, songs, ceremonies, and presentations of achievements and badges that Cub Scouts earned during that month. This is where families can see the achievements of their Cub Scout.

OUR CHARTER ORGANIZATION

Pack 710 is chartered by the Kiwanis Club of Hacienda Heights, https://www.facebook.com/hacienda.kiwanis/.

And the St. Matthews Methodist Church congregation is kind enough to provide our meeting space and crucial support to keep our Pack operating. We make every effort to return the favor by planning service projects and volunteering at the churches events. Services are held Sundays at 10:00 AM visit their website at stmattsumc.com.

All youth, regardless of faith are invited to join our pack.
